Mora is a taxidermy and naturalist studio located in Los Angeles, California.
All work is created by Christine Chang, who continues to study museum preservation techniques.
Ethics:
Specimens acquired are product of natural deaths, depredation, or are legally hunted. All pieces adhere to CITES, The Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and California law.
Shipping:
Please allow up to two weeks for shipping as some items may require custom crates. U.S. shipping only at this time.
Due Diligence:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to know their local laws and regulations around importing specific species of animal. Please contact your local Fish and Wildlife representative if you are unsure.
Commissions:
Private commission work is currently open. Timeline varies on the type and level of complexity in the piece. Please expect a typical timeframe of 6 months to 1 year for your piece to be actualized. Any pieces with a timeline shorter than 6 months will receieve a “rush” pricing. There will be a collaboration between artist and client on the pose, base, and feeling or story we aim to achieve.
